Ashley Kuramoto
Ashley Kuramoto is passionate about sharing her love for the outdoors with others. She is a local teacher in the Qualicum School District who specializes in Outdoor Education and play-based learning. She is set to graduate with her Master's from Queens University this Spring after completing research in Outdoor Education and creating her Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island series. She wanted her books to mean more than just getting outside and going on adventures. She wanted her readers to understand the impact we have on our outdoor spaces and to respect them. Since publishing her first edition, she has sold over 1400 copies, donated over $8000 to local charities and launched her most recent edition, Nanaimo North, April 27th, 2024. Look for her books in over 30 local stores and online retailers.
